100 Hours of Prayer

From 4pm on 22 January to 8pm on 25 January, we’ll be opening our prayer room for 100 Hours of Prayer.

We will create continuous space to seek God, listen for his voice, and stand in prayer for our church, our community, and our world. Whether you come for an hour or two, your prayers will make a difference. We’d love you to book a slot in the prayer room and join us as we make room for God to move among us.

Prayer

Prayer is central to everything we do at St Richard’s, and we'd love to invite you to join us. Here are the opportunities for prayer this term:

Every morning at 7:30 am, we gather on Zoom to pray for our church, our city, and the world — a great way to start the day in prayer and connect with others.

Join us on Friday 6 February in person at St Richard’s from 7:00 to 8:30pm for a time of prayer and worship, seeking God together as a church family. Everyone is welcome!

On Friday 6 March, 7:00–8:30pm, St Richard’s will join with St Matthias, our sister church in the parish, for Kingdom Come, an evening of joint worship and prayer. The event will be hosted at St Richard's

Spaces for Prayer

At St Richard’s, we offer two dedicated spaces for quiet prayer and reflection. Our Prayer Garden, located just outside the church, is a peaceful spot with a beautifully crafted bench where you can pause, breathe, and spend time in prayer amidst nature. Inside, our Prayer Room is a calm, welcoming space set apart for personal prayer, reflection, or simply finding a moment of stillness. Both spaces are open to everyone—whether you’re seeking solace, looking to connect with God, or just need a quiet moment away from the busyness of life.

You’re always welcome!
